Some of you may already know it, our dear Giorgio, known on deviantart as

*edelweiss26

left us on February 26th and went hiking heaven's mountains.

Giorgio was one of the kindest person I've had the honour of meeting on this site, and I'm sure everyone else who knew him on here would say the same. He was a member of Mountainshots for many many years, and a devoted admin of this group for a very long time too.

In loving memory of him, I'd like to share some of his beautiful mountains pictures. Be happy and have an endless peaceful time up there, my friend}

Hi! I'm sorry I was away for vacations until yesterday (: Member subscriptions are automatically accepted, but deviations need votes and I hadn't any access to internet.

I understand, fact is any of my moutain photos are regarded as fine enough for the group (sorry I looked at the photos of moutains in MoutainShot and if some of them are really nice it is not the case of all the pictures accepted, so I don't undertand the reasons behind) ! I tried for the last time, if it is not accepted again I am going to leave the goup and ask you not to send me pictures again to watch. Hope you enjoyed your vacations ^^!

The votes are here so we can refuse pictures that aren't "mountain" shots at all, or where mountains or hills aren't really visible on it

Our group has never been a "best of the best pictures" group, we decided years ago to accept any mountains pictures the members wanted to share (since they follow our little rules).
I don't relly understand your "I tried for the last time", since your pictures have been accepted in the group.. And don't worry, if you leave the group you'll be automatically removed from the watchers list
